Weather. The app said rain, so I dressed for rain (only 2 layers). The young lady (if you pay in cash, there are percentages here, but no invoice, of course you can not, never) at the reception said sun but windy. I said wind is no problem for me, she smiled. Who was right? The young lady, all the way. Okay in the morning still a few drops, but then finest sunny weather and headwind. Hard from the front, normally no problem, but today? I still had slight (only!) Cramps, but weakness. Thank you dear body for reminding me again that I should eat better, I know I should, unfortunately I can't go back to potatoes and rice here, but now that my gum surgery wound has finally healed I can go back to dairy. But at the end it pulled me quite the plug, at the last kilometers almost a few times just slipped off the bike. Maybe I also ate too little on the road, because always with food and liquid intake it has pinched. When I look at the route tomorrow. Same distance, but again more altitude, inland, then maybe less wind. Said and regretted it already. On to the next app. Which always suggests me very creative ways. Meanwhile I follow my intention, whether I stay on the main road or follow the app. That works quite well, of course, always with a look how it goes on. Unfortunately, the app is not so good, if you change the zoom, it automatically resets to exit, which is annoying. Mostly it also suggests ways left and right of the main busy roads. Sometimes only left and right of it, if you continue straight ahead you are better served. Sometimes she leads you but also dreamlike paths along. Like today partly. However, not always, yesterday she sent me down a slope in a pump trail and on the other side out again. I did a lap of honor. Easy. But momentary conclusion, with intuition, foresight and now and then comparison with a competitor product then it works quite well. Now to the really important. Sicily! I am thrilled. So Italy is great, but here? Phenomenal! The nature is great, the people super nice, the food (fish-heavy) but otherwise of the finest. I absolutely have to come here again, longer, not just once in between. The cities must also be looked, not only when driving by. Here on the coast is no plastic on the roadside. Compared to Catania, that was terrible. Here, picobello! I'm curious how it will be tomorrow inland. Today I really saw a few beautiful spots, beach, mountains, flowers (yes it's spring here) and combination of it all. You can tell by all the photos (and that I'm feeling better and that the sun was there). Currently I have a power problem in my pad, it's their turn to solve it, but Italy just. So the man here is super nice and speaks finest English (was a few years in Dublin) different from the Italian standard. But well, it works without italien. That's because the people are really nice. Also in the supermarket. They take their time and if you speak at least a few words, everyone is happy. In this sense, good night. And Mr. Putin, thank you for pushing the energy turnaround in Europe, I've been talking my head off for years with arguments, I've been attacked, insulted, threatened with beatings. And you? You simply turn off the tap. Ingenious. With that, they dry everyone out in a flash. It will probably take a few years, but you`re doing us a big favor in the end. If no one is dependent on despots like you anymore, we'll be better off. Nevertheless, end the war, please. The sanctions will still remain.

I’m glad you’re feeling better. Wow these pics are beautiful. But cycling paths? What are they? 😆
