In the morning, we talked for a very, very long time. About many things, but actually a lot about academics. So mostly I`ve complaint. Then we "talked" a lot about mutual acquaintances in academia. And for the preservation of power and to get the maximum out of it with minimal effort, they simply do everything. So why do we do it anyway? Well, for one thing, the tasks are demanding, especially when you have to make the project actually work, since the rough ideas are usually not so easy to implement. Never, actually. And on the other hand, there are the encounters with people and the friendships that arise from those encounters. Across borders and times.
