Quite relaxed, got up, breakfast, gym, 2nd breakfast, out exploring area. Which in my case means around the corner and up stairs. I love running up stairs. This is the number 2 endurance sport for me. And here we went 200 meters up to the fortress Castel Sant Elmo, which towers high above the city. On the way up you meet many people on the edge of the stairs when you run past them. This is so nice when you have the condition. It wasn't always like this *cough* but if you want to be able to carry a case of water (yes there is soda maker) up to the 2nd floor in your old age (yes I know there are elevators) then you should start to build up your stamina at some point. With mid 70ig and advanced COPD this is then also a bit too late. You don't want to be trapped in your own apartment just because you can't get up the stairs anymore, do you? Today, also the knee made with, at least uphill, downhill light but endurable pain. Okay, at the top the party was relatively well attended. Somehow I was pretty much the only one who had his mask on. Is the pandemic over and I have not noticed? Or does the FFP2 mask just not bother me when breathing while climbing stairs? From up there you had a nice panoramic view of the city. And it's huge. And it's chaotic. And it's just wonderful. I fell in love. This city is already so chaotically built, the houses, the streets and stairs (did I mention that I love stairs?). Reminded me of Genoa, but much bigger and more chaotic. My wife would have hated me here, all the stairs (Stuttgart also has beautiful "Stäffele", I personally find the "stairways to heaven" in Heidelberg also quite nice, the 400 meters in height). The architecture of this entire old town is so wonderfully mixed up. To get the overview here you should live here a few years. So beautiful! But back when they were planning the city (let's call it that) I guess they didn't count on cars, neither parking space nor street width and SUVs are just coming into fashion here, funny. After I was through in the fortress and had photographed Naples in every direction, I made my way down, past a pizzeria. The smell was so great, I couldn't resist. Pizza Diavolo with a view. Great, one of the best pizzas I've ever had, for 6 euros. Then down to the old town and shopping and of course again to the pharmacy. With my dentist prescription (I also got back this time) again antibiotics fetched, just for safety. Does anyone know how often I can use this prescription? Or how long it is valid? 30 days? That irritates me a bit that I still have the thing, where I come from, the patient is not trusted so much. For that you have to pay for the medication here yourself. Where was I, also yes, then back to the hotel, on the way still another pizza (Carbonara) taken. I have my luggage and my bike equipped with a tag technology, that is, I can always see where the objects are or track the path. That means for me I do not always have to look whether my bike is still there where I have connected it. A look in the phone is enough, my phone can also search with it if necessary. Really comfortable. So again briefly rested in the hotel and go, drink another coffee in a bar around the corner. That was one of the best coffees I had ever drunk and the pizza slice was also not bad. And then back up the 200 meters to the fortress, the sunset approached. This time I knew the way up, which means I could run all the way. That is so wonderful to go 100%. Arrived on top again an entrance ticket solved, costs in the evening only half, and purely in the fortress. Unfortunately, I have not chosen the best position for the sunset, but one at least I was not in the crowd with others. And many made photos, I think succeeded. Then three girls wanted me to photograph them, they were exhausting, until they had a photo of themselves, with which then each was satisfied. Vanities. I prefer motifs that do not complain. For me it went back to the hotel, blog writing, that was it already today. Oh well, on the way I let me still ne pizza "food porn" out, delicious.
