Day 1 Hanau - Bad Kissingen 125 km

The only thing that helps is water water water, about 4 litres when riding, now in the evening another 2 or so. And I'll have sunburn tomorrow, my shoulders are already burning when I lie on them, it'll be wonderful then. Anyway, today I rode through the Spessart, a familiar route to Lohr, hardly any cars, up the Kahlradweg and Vordemwald and back down to the Main via the Engländer. Then the Maintalradweg to Gmünden and along the Fränkische Saale. After Lohr the heat hit and I had to slow down, but was generally well on my way. And where did I get off today? No, not at the campsite.....Abenteuer Allrad, exhibition in Bad Kissingen. Tommy, an old school friend, is the boss here and invited me to come and watch the hustle and bustle. Quite a lot of crazy people here, in a positive sense, most of them have something similar in mind, only the means of transport is different, mostly it's Unimoks or other self-built houses on 4 wheels.
