The plan was different until the evening, but then I checked the SCNF app and was lucky enough to get a ticket (with bike) to Paris on Friday. In the morning at 6:30 am. That's why I don't go all the way to the Atlantic but make a 2-day stop in Nantes. Therefore only 100 km. So out late and off I go. 100 km really isn't that much, but it can drag on if you want to have a coffee but there's no café on the route. I didn't want to stop in Anger yet, I wanted a nice little place on the Loire. Well, and then I drove 40 km to the first open café and the coffee there wasn't good either. The French can do a lot of things, but making coffee is not one of them. Then onwards, nothing really unusual along the way. I arrived in Nantes around 3 o'clock, checked in near the train station and set off again straight away. There's a Jules Verne museum here, which was great. Then I went into the city center, a nice little town with an alternative scene. Lots of delicatessens and that was it. I fell asleep early and now I want to cycle to the Atlantic, with that in mind.
